Position Summary
The position of Employee Wellness Projects provides an opportunity to gain experience in wellness programming, focusing on community wellness programs and tobacco-free, vape-free campus initiatives. The student will help support wellness programming in our community school, Strong Vincent Middle School. They will also help to increase the visibility of programs already in place for the tobacco-free campus initiative. This position assists in the implementation of wellness programs to enhance the well-being of the Gannon community.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Develop and implement a wellness themed afterschool program at Strong Vincent Middle School
- Support other Gannon programming running at Strong Vincent Middle School, such as intramurals or running programs
- Research and implement ways to better communicate our smoke-free, vape-free campus initiative
- Attend professional learning opportunities as able
- Assist with general wellness programming
