Job description

RN Key Duties:

• Performing comprehensive patient assessments and recording results
• Working with physicians to review assessment details and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Monitoring patients closely for changes in condition and reporting changes to the medical team
• Mentoring and supervising nursing assistants and licensed practical nurse
• Advocating for patient rights and ensuring patients receive the care they need
• Educating patients and their caregivers about medical conditions and continuing care goals after patient discharge

RN Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Completed state-approved registered nurse or licensed practical nurse education program
• Current RN or LPN license to practice
• Valid CPR certification (preferred)
