Position: RN Nurse Director, Maternal and Child Health Nursing

Salary: $190,000-$225,000 + Full Benefits
The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client to hire an RN Nurse Director, Women’s & Children’s Services to oversee the nursing staff responsible for Labor Deliver, Postpartum, NICU, PICU, and Children’s Hospital.
This 700-bed Trauma Center has one of the largest Pediatric ICUs in New York State and delivers 8,000 babies annually. The RN Nurse Director, Maternal Child Health will make a big impact and drive systematic change in a large academic hospital.

Responsibilities
- Lead and provide clinical and administrative oversight to 300+ FTES including unit RN Managers, Nurse Educators, APRNs, RNs and support staff. a 190-bed maternal child health service line;
- Complete operational and financial oversight of Women’s and Children’s Service line which includes: Labor Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, PICU, Pediatrics, Pediatric Trauma Emergency Services
- In collaboration with the medical, administrative and patient services leadership, you will develop short and long-term goals and objectives for the service line
- Work with the CNO and Department Chair to evaluate, recommend and implement changes for maternal health department processes
- Pursue cross-departmental collaboration to achieve successful implementation of patient care performance improvement (PI) activities
- Actively oversee and participate in all departmental hiring, orientation, training, evaluation, and termination activities
- Master's Degree MSN from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York
- 8+ years of maternal child health nursing, 5+ in leadership/management
