CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
The Interventional RN is responsible for all aspects of care related to adult inpatients or outpatients undergoing procedures. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.
What You'll Do:
- Perform general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
- Obtain patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills Sterile technique, scrub and assist physician during cases.
- Administration and knowledge of medications given to the patient under the supervision of the physician
- Operate physiologic monitoring equipment
- Operate all equipment related to IR procedures (IABP, Penumbra, IVUS, ISTAT, MedRad injector, manual thrombectomy, EKOS, McKesson pressure monitoring, venous Doppler, etc. )
- Management of blood samples and calculations
- Use of general patient care equipment and communication equipment
- Successfully complete all annual competencies
- Use of unit-specific equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)
- Daily QA and trouble-shooting skills for radiographic equipment
- Knowledge, advocate, and employ techniques for radiation safety
- Knowledge of PACS data storage system
- Good telephone and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in health care technology
Qualifications
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of accredited school of Nursing
- RN licensure for State of North Dakota
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
