Position Summary:
The director of nursing is tasked with overseeing the overall management of the nursing staff in the skilled nursing facility. Expected to participate in the interdisciplinary team, evaluate nursing policies and manage all aspects of nursing personnel.
Position Requirements:
- BSN
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and WY skilled nursing facility rules and regulations is preferred.
- Knowledge of MDS requirements and assessments and minimum data sets
