CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services. CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities
St. Alexius Health is looking for a Part Time .3 FTE to join the team!
Clinic RNs with St. Alexius now part of CommonSpirit Health have a variety of skills from clinical to project management. In our clinics you will be exposed to patients and their caregivers throughout their entire clinic experience. From front office to back office and all clinical support required in between and ensure patients and their caregivers have a positive experience. What you’ll do:
- Record patient’s medical history, vital statistics, or information such as test results in medical record
- Demonstrates ability to recognize and assess urgent/emergency needs of patients and initiate appropriate emergency procedures as needed.
- Obtain medical information and take vitals
- Evaluates patient and family understanding of treatment plan and/or instructions.
- Assists with a variety of procedures, exams and/or operation of diagnostic equipment as assigned

- Deliver quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Excel coordinating care for multiple patients at a time
- Excellent time management skills; maximizing slow periods to complete tasks during your shift
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nursing License in North Dakota or a current RN license that allows you to practice in the state of North Dakota
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required.
