Registered Nurse (RN)
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Nursing Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) assists the physician in the care and treatment of Little River Medical Center patients. The RN shall perform a variety of complex nursing tasks and related duties as required by the physician.

Responsibilities:
- Identifies symptoms of physical illness and disability of presenting patients through observation and analysis of the medical record.
- Supervises and instructs paraprofessionals nursing personnel in the treatment and/or care of patients and the maintenance of areas where patients are seen.
- Reads (checks) patients vital signs - temperature, pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure, etc.
- Administers medication, treatment and immunizations as prescribed by Physician
- Enjoy what you do everyday by providing compassionate care to everyone.
- Maintain SC Nursing License
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Active Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or North Carolina based on Residency.
RN:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a 3-year diploma in nursing; or an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and 1 year experience in a clinical/hospital/ambulatory health care setting.
