Overview:

Credence Management Solutions is seeking a Risk Manager at the Journeyman level for our Nuclear Command, Control, Communications (NC3) Integration program at Kirtland AFB. The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications Integration Directorate (AFNWC/NC) mission is to deliver integrated NC3 capabilities warfighters use every day to deter and assure. The Directorate ensures ongoing NC3 programs, legacy systems and new capabilities are fully integrated as part of the Air Force’s overall effort to sustain, modernize, and recapitalize the nuclear enterprise. The Directorate serves as an integrator ensuring that current and future NC3 capabilities across the spectrum are being evaluated and considered in concert.


The Risk Management Branch is responsible for monitoring, assessing and reporting on AF NC3 Weapon System Risks. The branch integrates risks, issues and opportunities across the constituent systems that comprise the AF NC3 WS and its external dependencies for submission to the Risk Management Working Group (RMWG) and AF NC3 Weapon System Risk Management Board (RMB). The branch integrates into other NC3 forums including the NCI Steering Group, Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and NC3 Strategic Team. The candidate shall provide risk management support services.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing, and executing processes for tracking risks across the AF NC3 WS program populace.
  • Coordinating with PEOs/SPOs to identify, analyze, report, and manage risks utilizing lifecycle risk management systems/policies.
  • Aggregating and analyzing periodic risk report and mitigation plans being developed and executed through the owning program offices.
  • Providing support to the Directorate, Divisions, or Weapon System programs as required by the Government.
Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
  • Minimum Education BA/BS Degree or MA/MS Degree
  • Minimum 3 to 10 years of related experience is required.
  • Ability to work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently.
  • May oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel if required.
