Summary
This role will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues, being proactive and developing solutions within the Revenue Cycle. Work in conjunction with Mountain Park Health Centers Revenue Cycle internal and external customers and partners to identify, troubleshoot and implement solutions to enhance the Revenue Cycle. The position involves coordination and teamwork within the organization, a strong focus on continual improvement, compassion and alignment with the organization’s mission, proactive communication, and best practice focus. Also, excellent revenue cycle and detailed analysis, technical comprehension of EHR system, customer service and communication/data presentation skills. Must be a self-starter, detailed, and analytical to be able to work alone on projects or issues to complete accurately and timely.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strong knowledge of all Revenue Cycle functions at MPHC.
- Thorough understanding of the Revenue Cycle module(s) in the EHR.
- Responsible for research and resolution of Coding and Billing issues.
- Strong knowledge of revenue, clinical and financial data to be able to identify areas where operational efficiencies can be improved.
- Use Excel, Microsoft Office and other tools to conduct analysis, provider audits, and monitoring of payer/plan quality initiatives improvements.

- Excellent communication skills are required, as well as an assertive and positive attitude.
Establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships. - Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Consistently ensures knowledge of and complies with Mountain Park Health Center policies and procedures.

3. Maintain consistent, timely communication regarding all facets of departmental activities with his/her co-workers.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate with applicable coding and revenue cycle experience. Five years of healthcare revenue cycle experience in organizations of similar size. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) with experience in E/M Coding is required. Knowledge of receivables software, billing regulations and EHR systems. MUST be self-starter and highly detail oriented. FQHC experience preferred.
