As a Digital Retouching Specialist at Cricut you will be responsible for retouching, compositing, set extensions, color grading and delivery of lifestyle and product photography based upon internal client specifications and guidance. You will collaborate closely with key department personnel across the creative and leadership teams to understand shot usage, cropping requirements, and compositing asks.

You must have a stellar portfolio that demonstrates technical proficiency with a strong understanding of non-destructive editing techniques, effective layer structures, color correction, and output formats in the Adobe Creative Suite. Particularly Adobe Photoshop.

The right candidate is team oriented but capable of working independently; able to receive candid and constructive feedback; is committed to doing their best work each day without supervision; is able to handle a high volume of shots each week. We will not review any candidate that does not provide a portfolio of images. Before and after images prefered. Responsibilities:

• Work hand in hand with photographers to manage and organize image files
• Work with producers to coordinate delivery schedules
• Work with 3rd party freelancers when needed
• Edit, touch up and color correct RAW shots
• Manage proofs and feedback
• Catalog and keyword deliverables
• Manage, maintain and upload shots to our digital asset management system
• Maintain and enhance current brand standards as it pertains to imagery

• Excellent portfolio showing a range of retouching, color grading styles and post processing techniques and styles
• Deep passion for visual story telling in theory and practice
• Comfortable in an environment that values teamwork, candor, honesty, and integrity
• Must have deep knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom in a Camera RAW workflow
• Expert level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to mimic photographic processing styles
• Demonstrated ability to composite multiple photographs into a seamless image
• Hands-on experience with high-end product photography (think Apple or Nest)
