STNDRD ATHLETIC CO., a lifestyle athletic footwear and apparel retailer, is hiring for their flagship Canal St. and our French Quarter boutique. We are seeking P/T Sales Associates. Please email your Resume & Availability to the email listed above.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of prior Retail Sales experience preferably in footwear and apparel sales. Can work independently and support managers with day-to-day operations in fast-paced retail environment.

SALES ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong teamwork and communication skills

* Ability to Multi-Task

* Prior Retail work experience is preferred but not required

* Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment

* A passion for sneakers

JOB SKILLS:

OPERATIONS:

* Responsible for assisting and drive sales of footwear, apparel, and accessories.

* Demonstrate proficiency in job knowledge (i.e. shipment/receiving tasks, fitting room guidelines, return/exchange guidelines)

* Processing of new shipment

* Keep the receiving and stockroom areas clean and organized

* Assist in the timely and accurate completion of manager assigned projects.

* Exhibit strong Loss Prevention awareness and comply with all inventory control measures

* Adhere to Company policies and procedures

MERCHANDISING AND DISPLAY:

* Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards

* Ensure that merchandise is ticketed and the sales floor is properly stocked

* Assist in merchandising and display projects

* Keep abreast with current and upcoming product and trend awareness

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
