Retail Associate

Freedom Thrift LLC is a secondhand store that supports Revelations of Freedom Ministries, leading men out of addiction through freedom found in Jesus Christ. Our workplace is faith-based, fun-filled, and team-oriented. Our mission: Revelation of Freedom Ministries and Freedom Thrift are dedicated to uplifting and empowering men to become disciples of Christ by teaching them to be productive in the workplace, using their earnings to bless others and glorify God while managing their life based on biblical principles. Below are the job responsibilities and qualifications for this position.

Overview: In addition to daily responsibilities, this person will set up and oversee our internet sales and shipping and oversee our social media.

Reports To: Retail Manager

Specific Duties:

· Partner with Manager to effectively stock the retail floor to ensure a well-stocked store.

· Effectively learn our Point of Sale cash register system

· Partner with Manager and work with volunteers to effectively display merchandise on the retail floor

· Partner with Manager to make sure the retail floor remains clean, neat and organized

· Set up and manage internet sales (research, price, list and ship)

· List items on other platforms such as Craig’s list

· Any other tasks as assigned by the General Manager or Manager

Qualifications:

· Support the mission of Freedom Thrift

· Project a Professional Image

· Organizational skills a must

· Internet Sales experience

· Social Media skills

· Able to identify and set priorities

· Able to be on your feet for 8 hours a day

· Willing to work every other Saturday at a minimum

· Able to work with volunteers and ROFM students

· Team Player that can work well with others

· Able to take supervision from the Manager

· Able to work with donors when necessary

· Possess problem solving skills

· Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Possess manual dexterity

Part time Position

20 - 25 hours a week

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ronks, PA 17572: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
