The Retail General Manager is responsible for managing all day-to-day operations of the Cannabis Dispensary (Cannabis Knowledge or Experience is not necessary) in accordance with the State of Massachusetts and standards set by the company. The Retail General Manager provides support to all Cashiers, Dispensary Agents and Inventory Associates which includes: scheduling, training, providing policy and procedure updates, keeping updated with industry news and product information.

  • Responsible for managing dispensary staff, schedules, inventory, cash management and customer relations;
  • Serving as a role model and resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations;
  • Responding to all agent questions, concerns or suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts;
  • Responsible for delegating tasks to Cashiers, Dispensary Agents and Managers in order to maintain a compliant and clean facility
  • Coordinating with the upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff.
  • Managing product inventory, goods for display and assisting with decisions around inventory contol
  • Ensuring there is zero inventory shrinkage or misconduct by retail associates
  • Uses the Point of Sale system to ensure all relevant information is recorded and tracked accurately
  • Maintaining the integrity and security of the dispensary by allowing only authorized personnel into dispensary and ensuring all product is handled and stored appropriately
  • Maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times
  • Assisting with implementation of new initiatives as needed in the dispensary
  • Assisting with managing and motivating a team to improve and maintain efficiency
  • Ensuring standards of quality, customers service and health and safety are met
  • Responding to customer questions, complaints and comments
  • Managing the sales floor regularly, talking to employees and customers, and identifying/ resolving urgent issues
  • Conducting sales transactions when required
  • Opening and closing the dispensary
  • Providing superior customer service for vendors and customers
  • Responding to all customer complaints, requests, concerns, suggestions and takes action when necessary to resolve conflicts;
  • Maintaining accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, customer records, sales, deliveries and returns in accordance with the State of Massachusetts and the standards set by the company;
  • Maintain inventory control system and perform weekly counts of all marijuana and marijuana products in the facility;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
