Orchard & Vineyard Supply is in need of a Retail Clerk, Customer Service, and Warehouse Support person for our Milton-Freewater, OR location. This job will primarily consist of Warehouse duties and sales support, emphasis on deliveries, sales and order execution from the Outlet warehouse based in Milton Freewater, OR. Full Time Position estimated at 40 hours per week, with opportunities for seasonal overtime. In addition, this position may be responsible for driving, loading and unloading goods for on-site deliveries. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Receive in and help manage inventory levels.
• Helps to build and process sales orders for regional team. This includes packaging materials for safe transport.
• Work independently when in the field or the warehouse. Safely and professionally conducting themselves as a representative of OVS.
• Support Sales and other OVS staff with packaging, processing, and delivering of material to customers as needed.
• Process and support transfer material requests between regional locations as assistance is needed.
• Must exhibit an assertive and confident presence(with customers, suppliers, and associates. (in person or on the phone).
• Safely and responsibly operates a motor vehicle, forklift, or other mechanical devices at the warehouse or customer’s locations.
• Help maintain OVS facilities clean and organized. Pre-inspections of equipment for preventative maintenance and overall providing a professional appearance.
• Strong communications skills and capable of lifting 50-70 lbs. manually.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but could evolve over time.

POSITION TYPE

This is a full-time position. Hours of work are mostly Monday through Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrate a strong work ethic and be a team player is a must.

Being able to property load and secure a load on a flatbed or pickup truck.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Education and/or experience in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Viticulture, Agronomics is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common business communications.

Bilingual in both English and Spanish a plus.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume; to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Learn to become sufficient proficiency with NetSuite, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, and the PC network to fulfill responsibilities.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Current, valid driver’s license. Forklift certification (internal).
