SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:

Are you nuts about macadamia nuts? The type who is passionate about Hawaiian agriculture? HMNC is looking for friendly, enthusiastic candidates to fill the roles of retail associates at our new store. The store showcases the history of Hawaiian agriculture and introduces customers to locally grown macadamia nuts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide customer assistance
• Confidently communicate with customers
• Proficiency in daily opening and closing procedures
• Stock store shelves
• Customer checkout assistance through the shop’s POS system
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice and recommendations

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Customer centric with a positive attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Dependable

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, & Professional Association):

Mandatory –

• Willingness to learn and adapt, as needed
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
• U.S. Citizenship or clearance to work in the U.S.

Preferred –

• 0-1 years of retail experience desired
• High School Diploma

POSITION DETAILS:

• Part-Time hours: Approximately 25 hrs. per week
• Pay: $17/hour depending upon experience

Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
