The Indiana Shop, powered by Gameday Spirit is seeking a Full-time Assistant Manager of Retail to oversee retail sales operations at our two iconic locations in Bloomington, IN. Housed in the former T.I.S. Bookstore on 3rd street and on Kirkwood Avenue next to Nick’s, The Indiana Shop caters to students, parents, alumni and everyone who loves and supports Indiana University. Our goal is to be THE place for I.U. fans to pick up their game day, and everyday, I.U. apparel, gifts and novelties.

Responsibilities and requirements

· Create a fun and energetic shopping experience with your upbeat personality.

· Recruit, train, develop and lead staff in a customer centric and service-oriented atmosphere.

· Maintain merchandising standards for presentation, display and cleanliness.

· Oversee normal cash handling and sales register operations.

· Provide information on merchandise voids from customer feedback.

· Must be available during peak student engagement events (i.e. Back to school, home football games)

· Must be able to work either location on a variable schedule including weekends and evenings.
