Job Summary:
Seven Springs Mountain Resort is seeking a highly motivated person looking to take the next step in the hospitality field. We are looking for a professional Food and Beverage Manager to be responsible for managing all F&B operations in assigned locations and for delivering excellent guest experience. The successful candidate will be able to forecast, plan and manage all F&B orders, staff, and finance. The goal is to maximize sales and revenue through customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily/evening operations of restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
Hire, coach, counsel, and ensure staff members adhere to policies, procedures, and applicable laws
Handles voids, tabs, pick-ups, and delivers change for the areas of responsibility
Establish targets, KPIs, schedules, policies, and procedures
Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Report on management regarding sales results and productivity
Performs duties of those supervised as needed
Ensures proper communication chain to staff including stand-up meetings, daily events/specials, and incoming business
Compiles reports of daily activities
Assists in executing promotional programs and advertisement
Addresses customer complaints concerning service, food, and beverages
Inventories alcohol supplies and orders appropriately through the inventory software system
Active floor presence is required at all meal periods
Responsible for frequent guest interactions to ensure legendary service
Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Responsibilities include training staff members, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and coaching staff members and guest recovery.
Job Qualifications:
Current RAMP certification or ability to obtain prior to orientation
Must be highly organized, efficient, and detailed oriented
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Proven food and beverage management experience
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
Ability to manage personnel and meet financial targets
Guest-oriented and service-minded
Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field (preferred)
Education and Experience:
College graduate from a 2 or 4 year college.
At least 1 year supervisory experience or a minimum or 2 years experience serving/bartending in a high volume operation.
Physical Demands:
Stand; walk; sit; talk or hear and taste or smell.
The staff member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

Work Environment:
Walking surfaces in kitchen areas are frequently wet and slippery.
Noise levels are moderate.
Work days and hours, as well as number of hours required will vary, with emphasis on weekends and holidays.

Recommended – proper footwear for wet walking surfaces.
The budgeted range starts at $41,600 - $62,875 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
