What does a RESTAURANT MANAGER do?

  • Direct, control and coordinate shift operations
  • Interviewing, hiring and orientating new employees
  • Train and develop Team Members
  • Manages inventory/waste and labor controls
  • Cash management, count drawers, and bank deposits
  • Profit and Loss analysis
  • Evaluate Team Member performance
  • Other duties as assigned

*Restaurant General Manager responsibilities include all of the above and the following:

  • Receive and resolve customer complaints
  • Financial Controls : Profit and Loss statements, daily deposits, payroll, EOD reports
  • Manages inventory/waste and labor controls
  • Train and develop other management staff and team members
  • Performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, employee counseling, grievance handling, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

What we Require of you:

  • Ability to work a 50 hour work week (including nights, weekends and some holidays)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience required for an Assistant Manager (food service/restaurant experience preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience required for an Assistant General Manager (food service/restaurant experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience required for a Restaurant General Manager (food service/restaurant management required)
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Strong Math Skills and ability to count money accurately
  • Upbeat and Outgoing Personality

Physical Demands:

  • Remaining on your feet for several hours at a time
