The General Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant to ensure the team delivers the required tasks with the highest quality and standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading a team. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees as well as on-boarding and hiring new team members.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership, direction, and structure to a team of people.
• Manage restaurant operations and finances by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
• Recruit and train new hires on business practices.
• Drive development of employees, both FOH and BOH teams.
• Set operational goals and follow-up plans for subordinate Managers. Directs and holds the Managers accountable for these goals.
• Ensure that quality of work or service is maintained.
• Implement programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
• Identify any operational issues and give timely feedback to the team so they can impact the operational opportunities.
• Achieve budgeted goals for each accounting period, meeting EBITDA goals.
• Ensure guests consistently receive high quality food and service in accordance with brand standards.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
• Develop, implement, and review Local Store Marketing to increase Guest counts.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a minimim of 5 years of experience as a General Manager
• Must have strong P&L, budget, and sales forecasting experience
• Being bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
• Comfort working with payroll
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to cope with pressure, multiple deadlines, and working under pressure
• Ability to develop high-performing, cohesive teams
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow Team Members
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Possess the ability to motivate and maintain effective working relationships with all Team Members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
