The Job - We are currently seeking a Restaurant General Manager to join the Sushi Maki Team in Miami! Candidates could be considered for any one of our dynamic restaurants within our Miami Florida portfolio of restaurants.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the District Manager of Restaurant Operations, the General Manager will direct the activities and be measured on the results of the restaurants’ sustainability of food and beverage initiatives, high standards of food and beverage quality, Guest satisfaction scores, service, revenues and profit margins.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop a strategic plan to advance the restaurant’s mission and objectives to promote revenue, profitability, and growth.
• Provide strategic direction for sales, operations and promotions.
• Prepare submissions of accurate daily, weekly, monthly paperwork, ensure cash handling procedures, maintain and control restaurant assets, and maintain food and beverage inventory.
• Ensure all team members perform all necessary duties promptly and accurately.
• Team member development, e.g. hire, train, motivate, evaluate, discipline and terminate employees.
• Able to travel and assist other restaurants when needed.

• College degree preferred but not required
