Job description
Provides short term, in-home respite for caregivers of seniors, age 60+ who cannot be left at home alone due to illness or disability.
This position is up to 15 hours a week, dependent on client needs.

General job duties:
- Receives work assignments responsible for the Caregivers Support Program
- Drives to homes as assigned and reports to caregiver.
- Provides supervision and appropriate socialization to care-receiver during assigned work time
- Maintains the safety of the care-receiver, their home and themselves at all times.
- Reports any problems which occur during a work assignment to supervisor immediately if possible and always by the end of the work day
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Graduation from high school OR possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma and experience working with the elderly; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license that is acceptable to TOI standards
