Apply respiratory care procedures in the treatment and diagnosis of patients, in both general and critical care areas, working indirectly under supervision of the supervisor or charge therapist. They will plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care. Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced respiratory care to patients in critical care settings, and evaluate patient response to therapy. Perform patient assessments and recommend therapeutic goals and therapies. • Participate in multidisciplinary patient care activities and provide evaluation and communication of respiratory care plans. • Demonstrate competency and ability in providing respiratory care to neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients per department policy and procedures. • Demonstrates competencies and responsible for the safe and effective administration of all respiratory care procedures and for the proper functioning of all respiratory care equipment. • Serves as a student clinical instructor when applicable. • Competent in making out shift assignments for staff • Demonstrates ability to rotate to other two hospitals to perform routine respiratory care. • All other duties as assigned.
