*We are an NJ state-wide NFP organization looking for a hands-on Resource Specialist to join a fast-paced, customer-centric team who is passionate about helping others!
*

*This position is responsible for support services working within an assigned county to develop community resources specific to the individual needs and interests of our program participants. Resources include but are not limited to the coordination of employment counseling, job placement, transportation, housing, and other tools needed to achieve the participant’s individual goals.
*

*This is a highly visible role that requires someone with excellent verbal & written communication skills. The ability to work with a diverse population of individuals that enroll in our program for specific support services.
*

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or the equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
• Two or more years of related experience working with 55+ individuals preferred
• Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• Working knowledge and use of computer software programs
• Effective verbal and written communication utilizing the English language
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage a client caseload
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels across the organization including senior management.
