We are YSS:
Francis Lauer’s Residential Addiction Treatment provides a successful, individualized, and evidence-based recovery program for youth in a safe, homelike atmosphere. We understand substance abuse affects more than just the addict; our comprehensive approach incorporates support for the youth’s family and others in their support network.
The role:
As a Residential Program Manager, you will manage the Residential Addiction Treatment program so that clients and employees can develop and grow to their fullest capacity. You will coordinate program services, supervise staff, and manage residential primary and intensive outpatient treatment for adolescents while ensuring quality assurance and agency policy and procedures are met.
What you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field is required.
• Substance use certification within two years of employment at YSS is required.
• At least four years of full-time experience in the delivery of substance abuse services or services to adolescents in a public or private agency, with at least two of the years involving supervisory experience, is required.
• Counseling experience in the areas of adolescents and families is essential, preferably those with co-occurring disorders. Previous experience in the management of residential facilities is desirable.
• MANDT trainer certification is highly preferred.

What you will do:

• Establish annual goals and objectives for the program to achieve measurable outcomes and report progress.
• Assist in planning the budget to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Provide supervision, training, and orientation to Residential Supervisor, Lead Overnight Youth Specialist, and Direct Care Staff, and hire qualified employees when needed.
• Approve staff scheduling to ensure the proper client-to-staff ratios.
• Oversee treatment programs and ensure treatment is provided in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Maintain a good working relationship with referral agencies, community partners, and other outside stakeholders.
• Complete and maintain all employee and program-related documentation including staff performance reviews.
• Ensure the maintenance, safety, and upkeep of the facility making sure that the house is kept clean and orderly, and that regular room checks are done.
• Offer great leadership to establish lines of authority and tasks within the program while maintaining high staff morale.
• Be responsible for the continuum of care and quality assurance within each program. Ensure quality delivery of service for target population as defined by Board of Directors.
• Establish standards, policies, and procedures, and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compensation:
Up to $51,000/year
