Essential Duties & Responsibilities
·Cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
·Ensure that all equipment is always clean and in working condition.
·Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
·Must be able to work as a team member Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service.
·Must be reliable & keep to schedule Enables patients to stay in their rooms by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services.
·Supports patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services: assist with filling water pitchers.
·Notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions in a patient
·Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following asepsis standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions.
·Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
·Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Experience:
· Preference may be given to candidates with experience in Patient services.
Qualifications:
· Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 40 pounds. Ability to move about the building quickly to assist residents in the event of an emergency.
Requirement: High School Diploma or GED
Must be over 18 years old.
