Role Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced Research Scientist to help further our genetic technologies. The individual will be involved in
in vivo animal research in genetic targeting, discovery, and modification using gene editing technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering novel CRISPR-CAS genome editors.
Design animal models and conduct animal studies using gene editing technologies.
Work collaboratively with a team of scientists to apply scientific expertise and gene editing technologies to design and perform animal experiments in support of research.
Develop reports, posters, and presentations to communicate internally with project teams.
Assist in lab management.

Basic Qualifications
Advanced degree in cellular and molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, immunology, or related fields.
Must have prior hand-on experience involving gene editing and continued interest in applying gene editing technologies in vivo. 2+ years of relevant research experience using rodent and other animal models preferred.
Solid technical background, with understanding and hand-on experience with CRISPR/CAS-9 based gene editing and traditional embryonic stem cell based gene editing.
Plan and execute experiments and analyze data independently.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
