Cellarity, a privately held, early-stage biotechnology company based in Boston, is seeking a motivated and engaged co-op student to join our Data and Software Engineering team. This person will contribute to implementing and enhancing scientific applications. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a fast-paced team-oriented start-up environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be an integral member of the research informatics team, supporting applications focused on understanding biology at the single cell level
- Work closely with various stakeholders and support developing roadmap for the informatics applications.
- Document requirements and test cases review application design, perform unit and system testing.
- Act as a liaison between the scientists and the software partners and vendors to implement capabilities.
- Present project goals and results across the organization including company-wide meetings
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in biotech co-op preferred
- Prior experience in supporting ELN, LIMS
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
