Summary:

DTx Pharma is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated chemist to support research and preclinical activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

• Synthesis and purification of oligonucleotides from milligram to gram scale
• Synthesis and purification of oligonucleotide conjugates using proprietary chemistries and ligands
• Annealing of oligonucleotides for the preparation of double-stranded compounds
• Operation and maintenance of oligonucleotide synthesis and purification equipment
• Management of compound storage and inventory tracking
• Working collaboratively with other members of the chemistry and biology teams
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Previous experience with Cytiva Oligo Pilot synthesizer
• Previous experience with oligonucleotide synthesis platforms
• Previous experience with oligonucleotide or protein purification
• Strong laboratory skills, including prior experience with HPLC
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
