Job description

We are seeking a person to help us coordinate the renovations of a 250+ unit apartment community located in Fredericksburg, VA. This position is charged with working with the general contractor to ensure a well-managed community rehab project. Emphasis on positive response to the concerns and needs of the residents impacted as well as addressing ownership’s goals and objectives.

We anticipate this assignment will last between six and 12 months starting in Spring 2023.

Customer service skills are a must have.

Responsibilities include:

· Provides overall coordination between contractors, management and residents,

· Ensures proper key handling control procedures are followed,

· Confirms site is unlocked and locked each day as necessary for construction access to residential units,

· Provides residents with the required notices as well as tracks and files same as necessary,

· Coordinates hotel reservation for residents and collects any special need requests,

· Communicates to management and ownership as required / necessary,

· Ensure residents receive packing materials (e.g. boxes) as needed,

· Inspect resident units prior to construction dates ensuring readiness and report any area of concerns as needed,

· Inspect construction progress and product, providing a punch list to contractions as necessary,

· Track and record any resident complaint and claims reporting as required to management, contractors and ownership,

· Provides reports as needed,

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:

· Working knowledge of Microsoft word

· Ability to obtain a Virginia Fair Housing license

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
