Integrative Medical Home Care is an innovative home-based primary care practice founded in 2018. IMHC incorporates old-school house calls into modern healthcare delivery. The business is minority owned and woman led. IMHC takes great pride in our inclusive, fair, and supportive culture.

Here, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses provide primary care services in patient's homes to help reduce hospitalizations and manage chronic conditions. We coordinate with multiple outpatient specialties including home health, hospice, and behavioral health. Our fully remote administrative staff works together to support the coordination of care for multiple senior communities throughout Central Texas.

**Applicants must reside in Texas, preference for Austin/San Antonio based applicants. This is a permanent fully remote position.**

A brief description of the position:

  • Answer inbound calls and triage patient health concerns.
  • Manage the coordination of diagnostic orders and results.
  • Process and follow up on pharmacy prior authorizations and refill requests.
  • Set up new patients in our EHR and verify insurance benefits.
  • Respond to inquiries received via fax, email, and phone.
  • Process incoming and outgoing Medical Records requests.
  • Appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation every 4-6 weeks (additional compensation provided).

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Productivity Suite, and a strong grasp of technology.

Skills and practical experience that would set you apart:

  • Previous experience in a Primary Care setting or with the Geriatric population.
  • Experience in Home Health administration. Understanding the requirements of Home Health to initiate and continue care.
  • Microsoft Teams, Practice Fusion, and Medicare experience highly preferred.

IMHC provides all equipment necessary to work from home with the exception of internet service. Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and the ability to create a HIPAA compliant home office.

Background check and pre-hire drug screen is required.
