Remote Azure Automation Engineer- 3 month W2 contract
Insight Enterprises is seeking a Remote Azure Automation Engineer to assist with the design, deployment, configuration, and management of one of our large client’s Azure environments leveraging Terraform. This is a 3-month W2 contract that has the opportunity to extend and/or convert to a permanent hire.
Highlights:
Position: Azure Automation Engineer – Must have 7+ years of Azure experience
Over All Objectives: Design, deployment, configuration, and management of their Azure environment leveraging Terraform
Location: Remote
Position Duration: 3-month W2 contract- the possibility of extension and/or converting to permanent hire
Qualifications:
- At least 7+ years of Experience in architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of cloud environments
- Experience implementing cloud Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using HashiCorp Terraform including Terraform Cloud, modules, and registries
- Strong knowledge of Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service components and features especially secure networking and virtual machines
- Experience with secure, cloud-based network architectures and topologies
- Experience building and managing Windows VMs in Azure
- Capable of working independently in a multi-faceted environment
- Flexibility under changing conditions
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Good communications skills in English, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
- Relevant Certifications are a plus
- Knowledge of Cisco ACI in Azure
- Knowledge of VMware
- Azure AD experience
- Good understanding of Azure security best practices including Defender for Cloud
