REQUIREMENTS OF THE RN-POSTPARTUM:- Coordinate patient care through a continuum and facilitate the achievement of optimal
care based on essential patient needs and available unit resources including time,
personnel, equipment, and supplies.
- Maintain excellent patient assessment skills. Use the nursing process as a basis for
for treatments and procedures, to include surgical interventions. Evaluate effectiveness of
self, care given by all health team members, and contribution of systems, environment,
and instrumentation in progressing patient toward outcomes.
- Perform/assist with clinic specific procedures, in accordance with established policies,
care given by all health team members, and contribution of systems, environment, and
instrumentation in progressing patient toward outcomes.
- Skill in setting up, operating and monitoring specialized medical equipment such as IV
and other clinic specific equipment.
- Excellent oral communication skills for patient/family education. Prescribes and
protocols as prescribed in MTF policies and procedures and IAW JC guidelines.
Contractor RNs shall provide proper care and evaluation of post-procedural patients.
- Knowledge of a variety of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, the desired

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE RN-POSTPARTUM:
- Degree/Education: A graduate of a, Associate, Bachelor or Masters program of
approved program.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- S.T.A.B.L.E Certification
- Valid, unrestricted, RN license at least 1 state, territory, or commonwealth.
- Experience as a Registered Nurse for 3 years with at least two years as an RN caring for
- US Citizen
- Competitive pay ($52.00/hr. + $4.23/hr. Benefits Pay)
