An award-winning healthcare organization located in Coastal Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator to join its team of healthcare professionals.
This fast-growing organization provides short-term and long-term care services and employs top-rated physicians throughout the region. This long-term care facility is part of a larger healthcare organization that provides an array of specialty services including cardiology, orthopedics, women’s services OB, surgical services OR, neurology, and emergency services ER. This facility is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and continues to be awarded for its exceptional patient-center care.
The Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator will be responsible for the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument RAI process. The Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator will review and complete appropriate documentation and provide patient education. The Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator will adhere to all state and federal regulatory requirements. The Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator is supported by a team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and staff.
Requirements include:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Current RN license or ability to obtain license upon hire
- Knowledge of HCFA admission skilled criteria and RAI process
