Description

Sidney Regional Medical Center is searching for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the delivery room. Work with mothers through their final stages of pregnancy helping with birthing, monitoring vitals, and becoming astute in signs and symptoms of possible complications. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all areas related to labor and delivery, newborn nursery, & postpartum.
  • Care and prep for patients during labor and delivery, including cesarean delivery.
  • Assist with the care of post-partum patients and newborns. Be prepared to tend to unstable infants as needed.
  • Perform newborn assessments, including the ability to perform and record newborn hearing screens.

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. school of nursing.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Nebraska.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year L&D and normal newborn care experience preferred.

Full-Time Nights 6 pm - 6 am
