Pro Nursing Solutions is immediately seeking multiple motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses for various assignments throughout Broward and Miami-Dade County.

An employee under this classification must be able to perform a variety of nursing care assignments in one or more medical areas and has advanced knowledge and skills of practical nursing. The RN must demonstrate the following core competencies and behaviors: nursing process, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, flexibility, organizational skills, accountability and leadership.

The Registered Nurse will provide support to children and adults who are medically fragile and require continuous medical care. An ideal candidate must be able to commit to multiple 12 hour shifts and have reliable transportation.

• 
  Responsible for monitoring and treatment of patients.

• Conducted chart audits and administered medication per treatment protocol

• Assisted with a patient intake which included insurance authorization, medical assessment, and notification of providers.

• Assisted in the behavioral management of patients which included verbal redirection and active listening.

• Make rounds after report assessing for:

• Consumer in correct equipment and placed safely and correctly into nighttime position in bed. House check for infection control problems.

• Evaluate individual medical problems outlined in report completing O2 sats as needed.

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.

• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment and examinations of patients.

• Assist DSI’s with total care of each child/adult as needed.

• Directs therapeutic milieu and provides supportive individual, group, and family therapy.

• Utilizes activities of daily living in goal-oriented way to foster adequate self-care and physical and mental well-being.

• Willingness and ability to provide total care to children.

• Maximizes security and safety of units. Provides special attention/monitoring of those patients at risk for suicidal attempts or elopements.

• Change trachs of children/adults as needed.

• Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess the condition of patient.

• May rotate among various clinical services of the institution.
