- Job Scope:
- Primary job duty is to provide routine care, observe patients’ health, assist doctors and registered nurses, and communicate instructions to patients regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestyle changes.
- Requirements for Position:
- Successful completion of RN license program is a must (up to date)
- Up to date first aid and CPR certification
- Must be able to pass background check
- Required Skills:
- Successful completion of RN license program is a must
- Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor
- Team player, able to get along with a diverse group of people working towards a common goal
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Planning and managing patient care according to each patient’s needs
- Interviewing patients and recording their medical history
- Documenting in patient charts in a promptly and accurately manner
- Observing and recording patients’ conditions and reactions to medications and treatments
- Communicate with patients’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions
- Work effectively to meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining high quality standards
- Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines
- Physical Requirements:
- Be able to frequently lift and reposition patients
- Good stamina & physical health
- Documents Required:
- Driver's License/Identification
- Social Security Card/Birth Certificate
- MUST be able to pass drug screen and criminal background
- MUST have reliable transportation.
- Pay:
- $27.00 - $30.00 (DOE)
- Weekly Pay
- Pay Schedule: Monday - Sunday
- Schedule:
- Monday - Friday (weekends as needed)
- 8AM – 4:30PM
- Monday - Friday (weekends as needed)
- Duration of Job: Temp to Hire
