We have two Registered Behavior Technician positions remaining for a small private practice that has recently gained rapid popularity and is thus expanding within the northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire areas. With our growing waitlist, we are looking to add two more behavior technicians for in-home ABA services for children, youth, and adolescents.
Both positions require that you be an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Please ensure that the name listed on your resume matches the name under which you are listed in the BACB registry. We will only be contacting applicants for whom we are able to confirm possession of the RBT certification through the BACB registry's "Find a Certificant" feature under the name listed on your resume.
Hours are available within the following timeframes:
Position 1, Mondays 1:30-6:30pm; Tuesdays 12:30-6:00pm; Wednesdays 12:15-6:30pm; Thursdays 1:00-6:00pm; Fridays 12:30-6:30pm
Position 2, flexible weekend hours for 3 to 5 families on rotating schedule.
All clients are located in a 30-mile radius from Chelmsford, MA
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of ABA experience and 1 year of experience with children and/or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Candidates must have the physical strength and mobility level necessary to work with young children. This involves standing without assistance for a minimum of 30 minutes, the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, ability to sit for up to 1 hour without a movement break, stamina to chase after children in the event of an elopement or bolt, quick reflexes to be able to respond to children’s sometimes-unpredictable behaviors at any given time, the ability to quickly and freely transition from sitting on the floor to standing up or running, etc. Candidates should also have experience and feel comfortable with clients who engage in mild challenging behaviors, including aggression, property destruction, and self-injurious behaviors, though occurrences are mild, given their ages/size/strength.
The hourly pay rate will be dependent upon our pre-determined objective criteria and is non-negotiable.
Mandatory trainings and any administrative work will be reimbursed at a rate of 70% of the pre-determined hourly pay rate.
All qualifying mileage reimbursement will be at the federal gas reimbursement rate. Eligible driving time will be reimbursed at a rate of 50% of the pre-determined hourly pay rate.
Being able to pass background checks is a mandatory requirement.
