JOB DESCRIPTION

Pinnacle Autism Therapy has immediate part-time (with the option to become full-time) opportunities in the Cave Creek area for enthusiastic and dependable behavior technicians, behavioral health technicians, and registered behavior technicians with a passion for working directly with children with autism, primarily in the client’s home.

We offer extensive training and growth opportunities, including the Registered Behavior Technician certification (RBT). The Registered Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA. The behavior technician will implement programs in-home, in-school, or throughout the community, supporting children with autism and their families. Compensation ranges from $16-$27/hr., based on experience and education. $1,250 hiring bonus!

Scheduling Needs: Flexibility is preferred to include the possibility of serving clients “after school” and in the evenings 3:30-7:00 PM and twice monthly Saturday availability of 9:00-1:00. We offer a shift premium of $2.00 for any hours after 5:00pm and any hours on Saturdays!

AS A REGISTERED BEHAVIOR TECHNICIAN (RBT) YOU WILL

• Work one-on-one with children to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with the support and direction of a supervising BCBA

• Assist with data collection and clinical reporting of the child's learning progress

• Collaborate with treatment programming

• Participate in on-going training to further develop skills and working knowledge

• Communicate confidentially and professionally with families, team, and supervisors

• Must have the ability to work independently

• Manage a flexible schedule

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION

• Applicants must be 18 years of age

• Preferred Associate Degree in related field

• Reliable transportation required (valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and maintain proof of proper insurance). All services are provided to the client in their home or school environment. We do not offer clinic-centered services.

• RBT Certificate or completion of requirements prior to client contact preferred, however, company will provide RBT training if needed

• Experience working with children, prior ABA experience with children strongly preferred

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships

• Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance card and CPR/First Aid certification

• Able to work between the hours of 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM Monday-Friday and some Saturdays

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
