POSITION SUMMARY:

Regional Sales Consultants are assigned specific regions to work with targeted districts supporting the Regional Vice President in ensuring utilization of both the manager and agent Operating Model throughout the region with a clear focus on developing, implementing, and ensuring utilization of consistent processes and procedures related to recruiting, training, developing, retaining and managing the business. Serve as subject matter expert for district functions by providing additional support to our District and Sales Managers with a clear focus on recruiting, introductions, sales training, and activity management.

Success will be measured in the areas of :

  • Regional recruiting results (specifically the Open Coverage Ratio & the success rate of the Advance Recruit program.
  • Rookie & Tenured Agent retention
  • Overall productivity (using GPA as the measurement of success)

Location: Candidate must live in the assigned region (Central US/Texas).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan travel schedule in advance through coordination with Sales Operations team and field leadership
  • Document details of all meetings in Salesforce, with access to field leadership
  • Focus on utilization of Manager and Agent Operating model
  • Assess current practices in targeted districts and create a plan to close the gaps
  • Be the subject matter expert in the district office related to recruiting practices, introductions, sales training, and activity management
  • Collaborate with the DM/SM on recruiting and hiring of advance recruits
  • Support successful conversion of advance recruits to agents in targeted districts
  • Coordinate with field training team to ensure success and result of new agents by ensuring training is reinforced in the district
  • In person and remote review to ensure utilization and consistent processes and procedures.
  • Support sales and marketing activities
  • Provide support to district managers to aid in the business growth and retention
  • Act as liaison between field and home office on inquiries and provide guidance to the field employees
  • Assist with special projects as needed.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experienced insurance professional, preference given to internal candidates
  • 4+ years of sales management or equivalent experience.
  • Fully licensed in Life, Health, Property and Casualty required.
  • Successful track record of effective coaching in a one-on-one setting
  • Strong results in recruiting, training, developing and retaining productive agents
