OAK Property Management, Senior Marketing Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
As an OAK Regional Marketing Manager, you will gain experience in International, National and Local marketing and work in fields such as digital marketing, public relations, business strategy, market analysis, agency management and campaign management. Your work will grow brand awareness, reservations and customer loyalty through focused plans, major projects and campground consulting within your region. Within the scope of “Outdoor Hospitality,” you cultivate the marketing functions for a property including: strategic marketing planning/execution, partnerships, digital marketing, social media marketing, email marketing and on-site marketing. The Regional Marketing Manager, acts as a marketing consultant to the Regional VPs and COP campgrounds to direct and strategize marketing initiatives at the campground level and manages the end -to-end execution for several individual properties. This position can be a field position if deemed beneficial for KOA.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
  • Database Marketing: Analyzes past business performance in correlation to other properties, business trends and key business impacts with a sound understanding of statistical and business analysis.
  • Marketing Planning and Execution: In coordination with properties and regionals, the Regional Marketing Manager assists Marketing Director with development of marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, that are impactful and agile through regular pre-defined strategic goals tracked through quarterly benchmarks.
  • RelationshipManagement: Effectivelycommunicatesandcollectsinformationtoandfrommany sources including vendors, campgrounds, managers, and freelance professionals.RegionalMarketingManageractsasthemainpointofmarketingforRegionalVPs.
  • Marketing Consulting: Take overall marketing processes and strategy and adapt to eachindividualcampgroundbasedoncampgroundmarket,highlightandactonbusinessneedsthroughthefiresafetyreportandhighlightopportunitiesastheycomeavailable.
  • BudgetManagement: Manageandbeaccountableformarketingbudgetsatboththeproperty
  • MarketingPlatformManagement: ActastheowneroftheKOA.compage,emailplatform,TruDigital etc. and lead messaging and distribution for those platforms on the campground’s behalf
EXPECTED RESULTS
  • Continuous processes refinement to ensure seamless cross functional collaboration
  • Delivery of projects within defined budget and timely manner defined by manager
  • Development of a collaborative and team focused style while working closely within the OAK and overall KOA Marketing departments
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four-year college degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business Management or a related field
  • 2-3 years of Marketing or related work experience
  • Works well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with and knowledge of email, web, content, and social media marketing
  • Experience working with creative agency vendors
  • Comfortable with technology, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and photo and video applications
  • Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Has a valid Driver’s License
