Your tasks

  • Monitor the daily availability and inventory in the North American regional hub.
  • Ensure that assortments needs are planned as per the rules and parameters defined. Take corrective actions when the target of availability and inventory levels are not reached (by applying and developing monitoring tools)
  • Analyze daily MRP run and create transfer purchase orders to GFMS Central Hub Meyrin.
  • Provide quick answers and effective solutions to the requests of US Customs policy on parts inbound and outbound.
  • Coordinate returns management of parts (subcontract to Logistic Supplier Partner) from customers until Central Hub.

Your profile

  • Associate Degree; and at least two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of foreign trade theory and relevant document operating experience. Knowledge of international commercial terms.
  • Previous cost control and logistic experience are desired.

  • Computer skills: MS Office and SAP.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. This position may require the employee to travel nationally or internationally to other company locations.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as processes and procedures, financial documents, and specific service reports and documents. Effectively communicate ideas, both written and verbally, to customers, management, or employees of the organization. Ability to write technical literature and develop reports on technical issues.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in various forms with several abstract and concrete variables. Define problems and troubleshoot situations using strong conceptual thinking abilities. Ability to interpret technical documents limited to brand knowledge.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume. Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as fractions, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.
