Veterinary Roots is excited to announce that we are looking to fill a new opportunity on our team. We are seeking of full-time Recruitment and Engagement Manager to help us build and strengthen our practices for the future.

Who We Are

Veterinary Roots remains grounded in its commitment to support veterinarians and foster the development of independently owned veterinary practices throughout the Puget Sound region. Our group of hospitals currently includes three local, community-based veterinary practices whose history is steeped in a long tradition of providing exceptional veterinary and customer care: Bothell Pet Hospital, Elliott Bay Animal Hospital and Rainier Veterinary Hospital.

Through these practices, we are able to offer a full array of veterinary services to help meet the needs of our clients and their pets including access to the best medical, surgical and dental care available.

Who We Are

Partnering with the Hospital Owner and Practice Managers, the Recruitment and Team Program Manager will be responsible for building and implementing a recruitment strategy that directly impacts our business goals. This role will also be responsible for the development and implementation of a veterinary and veterinary technician mentorship and internship programs as well as an employee engagement plan.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for full-cycle recruitment of clinical and administrative staff

· Plan, develop and implement a recruitment best practices and strategy based on market trends and business goals

· Create and implement data driven solutions to staffing and retention goals

· Plan, develop and implement a veterinary and veterinary technician mentorship program

· Plan, develop and implement a veterinary and veterinary technician internship program

· Create and execute an employee engagement plan that ensures team members are reaching their full potential in the organization and are taking advantage of current programs including but not limited to:

  • Continuing education programs
  • Veterinary technician accreditation programs
  • Networking opportunities
  • Team building activities

· Develop and implement retention and engagement programs to enhance the employee experience and improve staff retention

· Additional job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Comprehensive familiarity with the veterinary industry, our partners and developed industry consultancy skills

· 3+ years of experience as a recruiting manager or recruitment consultant

· 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment

· Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment tools and best practices

· Expert understanding of recruitment market and current trends

· Knowledge of labor laws

· Strong leadership, project management and internal relations skills

· Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

· Strong written and verbal skills

· Able to communicate well with others and resolve issues in an amicable manner

· Experience fostering team creativity and establishing education/team skill goals

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
