Recruiter: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
This position is responsible for facilitating the recruitment process (full-cycle), from sourcing through hire within a fast paced, high-volume, Distribution Center environment.
How You Will Make a Difference:
You will provide hiring managers with exceptional service, advice, direction, and direct feedback throughout the interview and selection process to assist them with making informed hiring decisions You will source a high volume of candidates to work within our Distribution Centers through a variety of recruitment methods such as employee referrals, internet, cold calling, and job fairs to ensure we find the most qualified candidates. You will conduct brief phone screens and coordinate interviews to ensure the most qualified candidates are referred to the hiring manager for their consideration. You will maintain a candidate status and fulfillment report on a weekly basis to ensure all staffing level requirements are met in order meet the facility demand. You will ensure that the candidate interview process is coordinated and executed in accordance with Talent Acquisition and facility procedures. You will partner with onsite HR and Distribution Center leadership to assist with facility staffing projects and initiatives. You will maintain the applicant tracking system throughout the life cycle of your open positions.
Years of Related Professional Experience: 2+ years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
2 or more years of progressively responsible experience in, high volume recruiting in a Call Center, Distribution Center, or Manufacturing environment, EEO, and compliance.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written).
Ability to keep and maintain confidential and secure records and information.
Ability to work in an efficient organized manner and follow through on deliverables and meet objectives and deadlines.
Ability to take initiative and work independently, either on-site within the Distribution Center or remote.
Ability to identify new and creative ways to source candidates and solve for labor supply challenges.
Ability to lead by example and maintain a professional, respectful and inclusive work environment.
Ability to listen to varying points-of-view and recognize and appreciate differences.
Superior customer focus and ability to build relationships.
Be a team player, goal oriented.
Excellent time management.
Ability to perform in an intense, fast paced environment.
Bilingual preferred
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Travel by air and overnight, as required 20% amount of time.
Lifting and/or bending, lifting 10 lbs of weight.
