Responsibilities Include:
The Recruiter brings experienced talent into program and operations roles across the organization, creating and executing full-cycle recruitment strategies in a growing environment. Duties include:
- Managing full-cycle recruitment for all open positions, planning and executing strategies to attract and hire high-quality candidates from diverse backgrounds using internal and external channels
- Sourcing candidates and promoting openings through various channels, screening applicants and conducting preliminary interviews
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and making job offers, ensuring protocols are followed and a smooth transition to onboarding
- Working with managers to understand job requirements and develop ideal candidate profiles, maintaining regular communication on job status
- Developing professional networks to meet recruitment needs, including joining industry and community groups to source active and passive candidates
- Partnering with internal teams to develop projects that improve the recruitment process, keeping up with industry trends and recommending new processes, tools and techniques
- Promoting the organization's brand and ensuring a positive candidate experience
- Supporting the HR team as needed to meet department goals
Qualifications Include
- 2+ years of recruiting experience
- Experience networking and developing professional relationships in various settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Ability to effectively source and screen candidates for all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom and ATS systems
- Project management skills and the ability to work independently
- Data-driven and results-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and strong relationship-building skills
- Experience in the nonprofit industry and/or knowledge of iCims ATS preferred
