CalPERS seeks an Accounting Officer, Specialist in the Financial Reporting and Accounting Services Division, Reconciliations and Account Analyses Unit.

The incumbent performs reconciliations of the Small Fund Reimbursement account and Public Employees’ Retirement Fund (PERF) sub-funds expense accounts. Prepares and posts journal entries to record the monthly accounting activity and any adjustments and/or corrections to general ledger and the Lincoln Plaza Building accounts. Reviews the monthly Lincoln Plaza Building account accruals and validates the Lincoln Plaza Building accounts and sub-funds program to ensure appropriate accounts, funds, and fiscal years are utilized to provide accurate and consistent financial reports. Provides assistance to correct reconciling items between the State Controller’s Office (SCO), State Treasury (STO), Affiliated Funds, and the department’s appropriation records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,819.00 - $6,032.00 per month
