Position Summary

The Receptionist at Alcami is the face of the company and is the first point of contact for all visitors. The Receptionist is a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and has a genuine passion for customer service. The Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, maintaining a visitor log, issuing badges and notifying the appropriate Alcami personnel to meet and host their visitors. The Receptionist answers and directs incoming calls and provides administrative support as required. The Receptionist fosters a professional and friendly environment for visitors and maintains an effective working relationship with leadership, employees and customers. The position requires superior leadership behaviors of the Alcami core competencies and non-negotiables, as well as expertise in functional competencies included in this position profile.

Essential Functions

· Greets visitors and creates a positive first impression and lobby experience.
· Ensures all visitors are signed in and out.
· Provides visitor name badges as applicable.
· Notifies appropriate Alcami personnel hosting visitors.
· Answers, screens and forwards calls.
· Provides basic company information as appropriate.
· Assists with administering the conference room calendars.
· Maintains the phone directory in company system.
· Executes daily sorting and distribution of company-wide mail.
· Provides administrative support for other departments.
· Receives and logs packages.
· Handles all employee rental car requests to completion.
· Provides support for client lunch order requests.
· Trains administrative assistants for relief receptionist duties.
· Ensures timely completion and compliance with cGMP and all other relevant company training requirements.

Education and Experience

· High school diploma required. Associate’s degree preferred.
· 2+ years related administrative support experience including handling multiple telephone lines.
