Member Duties : AmeriCorps members serve full-time from January or February, 2023 through June or July, 2023 and must commit to a service term of 900+ hours. The AmeriCorps Program Coordinator is the face of Reading Partners in elementary schools, responsible for leading the coordination, operations, and relationship development of Reading Partners’ one-on-one tutoring programs. The AmeriCorps Regional Program Coordinator serves as a mobile coordinator to support multiple reading centers, supporting the implementation of our traditional and distance tutoring programs (or a hybrid of both). The AmeriCorps Literacy Lead is a direct tutoring support position within our in-person reading centers and in using our remote tutoring system for distance tutoring, focusing on target students in need of more individualized instruction. The AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator is the face of Reading Partners within the community, recruiting and onboarding volunteer tutors in order to serve students.
