Job description
Performs radiographic examinations as required based on provider orders. Completes initial assessments and re-assessments for patients being seen by clinical providers. Accurately charts in electronic medical record and completes referrals to ensure smooth transition to other providers/facilities and accurate reporting. Completes all assigned electronic medical record tasks within the guidelines set forth by Self Medical Group and Self Regional Healthcare Administration. Assists physician/other healthcare providers with routine procedures within scope of practice/expertise. Administers medications and sterile solutions as directed/authorized by provider. Answers incoming patient clinical questions and processes all medication and refill requests, accurately and timely, in accordance with organization standards. Schedules referrals, testing, and procedures as ordered by the provider. Promotes patient use of MyChart and assists team in achieving Meaningful Use measures. Performs other duties as assigned.High school graduate or GED required. Training in Radiologic technology and current certification/registration by an appropriate agency required. Medical office experience preferred.
