This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is scheduled to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

We are seeking a Radiology Manager – Nuclear Medicine to:

  • Provide oversight of Nuclear Medicine, Positron Emission Tomography (PET) , and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) at University Hospital, American Family Children’s Hospital, East Terrace Dr. Medical Center, and Junction Road Medical Center.
  • Manage equipment oversight, operational and capital budgeting, recruitment, and performance improvement activities.
  • Ensure that all team, departmental, and TJC guidelines are met.
  • Collaborate with UW Health leadership and Radiology Faculty to implement change and meet strategic goals.

Education :

Minimum – Graduate of a Radiology/Medical Imaging school

Preferred – Bachelor’s or master’s degree in in Business, Healthcare Administration, Physical Science, Biological Science, or other relevant field.

Work Experience :

Minimum – Three (3) years health care operations supervisory experience or five (5) years of progressive relevant experience with demonstrated success and leadership skills.

Preferred – Experience with an academic medical center or complex healthcare system.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum – Certification by appropriate Radiology/Medical Imaging body through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

Preferred – Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA)
