Bay Medical Management LLC is a medical services organization (MSO) headquartered in Walnut Creek, CA. The organization provides administrative and management services to Bay Imaging Consultants Medical Group (BIC) who is the premier radiology group in Northern California.
SUMMARY
The Radiology Eligibility Specialist work errors from hospital download and processes billing information for physician services; provides billing and data entry support by performing the following duties. We are seeking a full-time Data Entry/Billing Processor for our Billing Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Creates patient accounts, posts charges, update patient accounts; generate patient/insurance carrier billings on computerized system.
- Bills and rebills patients and insurance carriers
- Verifies patient insurance eligibility, provide proof of eligibility checks
- Performs general clerical duties such as typing and data entry
- Meet or exceed daily quotas for entering patient/procedure information with accuracy and efficiency
- Ensures accurate coding of diagnosis and procedures to patient accounts
- Works special report projects
- Attends meetings as required
- Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year Billing experience in a high-volume medical setting, prefer knowledge of radiological procedures.
- Working knowledge of insurance billing to include CPT and ICD-10 coding, Medicare/Medi-Cal guidelines, HMO, PPO and Capitation.
- 10 keys by touch
- Basic keyboard skills

Pay Range:
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
